Overview:

Have a passion and proven track record in managing search engine optimization strategy? This position manages all aspects of the day-to-day client relationship and requires a solid SEO background. The Account Supervisor is the primary point of contact for the client and is responsible for understanding all aspects of the client's marketing communication and customer acquisition strategies. Within the agency, the Account Supervisor sets priorities for dedicated account service media and analytics teams, and procures necessary support from shared services (Creative, IT, etc.). Expanding client relationships, influencing client strategies and delivering service that leads to high client satisfaction are all expectations of the role.

Responsibilities:

  • Create solid relationships with front-line and management contacts. Understand client roles, responsibilities and key objectives
  • Form a complete understanding of clients organizational structure, internal politics, competitive set, business environment, strengths and weaknesses
  • Understand key client strategies, initiatives and performance indicators. Educate resources within the agency so that objectives are met
  • Provide strategic planning and direction for all services performed for the client
  • Oversee client projects from start to finish. Ensure on-time and on-target deliverables
  • Oversee and develop SEO program analysis, and provide client with strategic recommendations
  • Lead weekly status and monthly strategy meetings
  • Mentor junior staff
  • Expand client relationship
  • Respected by the client as a search engine optimization "expert"
  • Manage profitability and assume accountability for billing

Qualifications:

  • 3-6 yrs experience in SEO account management. Experience in local SEO and social media a plus
  • Track record of building strong client relationships
  • Track record in developing successful SEO strategy and forward-thinking recommendations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Thrives in fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
  • Degree in marketing/advertising
