In 1996, I became fascinated with the ideology of direct response (DR) marketing. Far from the noise and ambiguity of awareness advertising, DR offered clarity, science, and principles in the pursuit of effective advertising. Direct response’s goal is frank and pure: to sell.
In 2001, after a four-year tour with the South’s largest direct response television and direct mail agency, I founded Response Mine Interactive. The opportunity — to combine direct response with data mining and the emerging connectivity of the Internet — continues to provide a clear purpose and direction to our work.
At RMI, we apply the principles of direct marketing to help good national companies grow.
